The audit

What the full audit covers.

Four areas, one week.
Everywhere a customer decides whether to trust you and book.

Search results list with location pins and a magnifying glass, representing Google Maps and search ranking

Search visibility

Where you rank on Google Maps and in search for the terms customers actually type: listing accuracy, categories, the photos and hours that decide the click. Dental practices get the AHPRA-written version, SEO for dentists.

  • Google Business Profile accuracy categories, services, hours, photos
  • Map pack position for the terms your customers actually type
  • Listing gaps directories and guides you are missing from
  • Competitor comparison what the businesses above you have
Stacked chat bubbles representing an AI assistant answering a recommendation question

AI assistant visibility

What ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI say when asked to recommend a business like yours. We run the real prompts, and check your site can be read at all.

  • The real prompts the questions your customers actually ask
  • Whether you are named across ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI
  • Crawlability whether a plain crawl returns your content
  • Citation sources the independent guides the engines quote
Phone showing a video play button alongside camera, like and save icons, representing Instagram profile and content

Social and content

Whether your Instagram, TikTok and Google Business Profile posts still match the business you run. Rhythm, bio, links, hooks — and whether any of it points at booking.

  • Bio and links whether anything points toward booking
  • Posting rhythm how often, and when it last stopped
  • The first grid what a stranger sees in the first screen
  • Hook quality the first two seconds of a video
Checklist with a star rating, representing a review and reputation audit

Reviews and reputation

What your reviews say, how fast you respond, where the negative ones cluster. We map what people praise, what they warn about, and the replies costing you bookings.

  • Volume against rivals the number people compare at a glance
  • Response rate which reviews went unanswered, and for how long
  • Themes what people praise, and what they warn about
  • Where you are absent platforms your customers check and you are not on

Categories, services, hours, photos and attributes, checked against what the top three in your map pack are doing.

What you get
Categories and services matched to the top three
RankingsA brass magnifying glass with a wooden handle beside three dark green blocks descending in height like a ranking chart.

Map pack ranking

Where you actually sit for the terms customers type, not the ones you wish they typed.

What you get
Tracked on the terms that actually bring bookings

Most businesses lose the booking in the map pack.

A stale listing never fails loudly. It stops showing up.

NAP consistency

Name, address and phone across every directory that carries you. One stale entry is enough to split the signal.

What you get
One name, address and phone on every listing

Local landing pages

What you get
A page per location that can rank on its own
ReviewsThree groups of cream review cards, the tall stack topped with five brass stars, the next with four and the last with three.

Review velocity

How fast new reviews arrive, and where they stopped. Volume and recency both move local ranking.

Social content

The Content and Social Audit, in Detail.

The first screen

Bio, name field, category, location and hours, and whether the profile says what the business actually is inside one screen.

What you get
The business named in the first screen

Where it sends them

Whether anything on the profile points at a booking, and whether the link in the bio still resolves to a live page.

What you get
A working link straight to the booking step

Last thing you update. First thing a stranger checks.

Stopped posting reads to a stranger as stopped trading.

Posting cadence

How often you post, and when it last stopped. A dormant profile reads as a closed business long before anyone reads the captions.

What you get
A posting rhythm you can actually keep

The first two seconds

The hook, meaning the opening line of a video. We check whether it gives anyone a reason to stay past the second it takes to scroll on.

What you get
An opening line that answers a question

What you are posting

Stills, short‑form video and Google Business Profile posts, and which of the three is missing from your accounts entirely.

What you get
The missing format named, with what to make

What the others are doing

The content the businesses ahead of you publish and you do not, written as a list of things you can go and make this month.

What you get
A named content gap you can close

Being found is half of it. Plenty are then not chosen.

Questions

Before you ask.

How long does it take to get a full marketing audit done?

A full Mersa marketing audit takes one week from the day you send us access to your website, Google Business Profile and social accounts. The free three-page teardown is faster, a written PDF back within two working days. Nothing runs longer than a week, because the audit is a fixed-scope diagnosis of four areas rather than an open-ended engagement.

What information or access do I need to provide before the audit starts?

Three things: your website address, your Google Business Profile, and your main social accounts. Anything that needs a login we name explicitly before we ask for it, and we never need billing or bank access. Gathering it takes most owners about thirty minutes. If a login is genuinely awkward to share, we audit what is publicly visible and say so in the report.

Can I get just one part of the audit, like only search visibility?

The $350 marketing audit is sold as one fixed-scope piece covering all four areas: search visibility, AI assistant visibility, social and content, and reviews and reputation. There is no per-area tier. If you only want one area, say search visibility, message us and we will quote that single piece separately rather than pretending the flat price covers less work.

Does Mersa also implement the fixes, or just tell me what to fix?

Both, but they are priced and decided separately. The audit ends in a written fix list that any competent developer, agency or in-house marketer can action without us. If you would rather we do the work, we scope and quote that only after you have read the list and know what it involves. Nothing recurring is attached to the audit.

What happens after I receive the marketing audit and fix list?

You receive the written fix list, ranked by impact with an effort estimate and an owner on every item, plus a short call to walk through it. From there the decision is yours: action it in-house, hand it to your existing developer or agency, or bring us in for the work. The audit is finished either way and nothing renews.

How much does a marketing audit cost in Bali?

The full marketing audit is a flat $350, about Rp 6,300,000, covering all four areas: search visibility, AI assistant visibility, social and content, and reviews and reputation. There are no tiers and no monthly retainer. If you want to test the waters first, the three-page teardown is free.

What exactly is included in a website and social media marketing audit?

A Mersa audit covers four areas, and the content and social half checks six things: the first screen of your profile, whether any link points at a booking, your posting cadence, the hook on the first two seconds of a video, which of stills, short-form video and Google Business Profile posts you are missing, and the content gap against the businesses ahead of you. Every finding lands on the same ranked fix list.

Is a marketing audit worth it for a small villa, guesthouse or clinic in Bali?

Yes. Villas, guesthouses and clinics are exactly who this is built for. Most guests and patients choose based on what they find in Google Maps, search results, AI recommendations and reviews before they ever visit your site, so a small business often has the most to gain from fixing those gaps.

How is a marketing audit different from hiring an SEO or marketing agency?

An audit is a diagnosis, not a subscription. You get a written, ranked fix list you can action yourself, hand to your own team, or bring us in for separately. There is no retainer and nothing recurring. You only pay again if you choose to.

Is the free three-page teardown really free, with no strings attached?

Yes. The three-page teardown is a free written PDF in which Mina or Saeed review your website, listing and reviews, sent to your inbox within two working days. No card is required, nothing renews, and there is no obligation to buy the $350 audit afterwards. You keep the PDF either way and are free to hand it to another agency.
